I'M NEW TO BUYING BEEF, WHERE DO I START?

Contact us, giving us your email, phone number and amount of beef wanted

$100 deposit is due to Branch Creek Farm to hold your portion of the cow

Once the cows are taken to J&L, you will receive an informational text regarding the next steps
-
J&L Butcher will contact you regarding your cut preferences
-
You will receive an email from Branch Creek Farm including your invoice for the meat, this is due upon receipt
-
You will then get a call from J&L Butcher letting you know your meat is ready to be picked up.
The J&L invoice will be paid at pick up.

We accept Cash, Check and PayPal - There will be a processing fee for all PayPal payments

There is also a butcher fee, paid to J&L Butcher, due at the time of pick up

HOW DO I STORE IT?
We recommend storing meat in a deep freezer.
WHAT IS HANGING WEIGHT?
Hanging weight is the weight of the meat after it has been slaughtered, and all of the unusable parts
have been removed. When purchasing beef in the store, it's measured by cut weight.
Cut weight is the weight of the meat after it has been trimmed, packaged, and labeled.
